"Just Get Me A Really Big Closet"

I know, I know...another fashion blogger talking about Carrie Bradshaw's fashion.  What's new, right?!  But let's face it, the fashion from this show has made such an impact on so many people.  There probably wouldn't be fashion bloggers without Sex and the City. 
 I actually started watching the show from the start, which would have made me 15.  So, I grew up with this show as a fashion inspiration at an age where girls are trying to figure out who they are.  We don't really figure it out till much later, or if ever....it seems sometimes. lol  
So, this show impacted me and my style for so many years, even still to this day.  I still put things together thinking, "A Carrie moment".


I got to thinking about all of this after spend my last day off mostly in bed watch season after season.  It just never gets old... :)
 
These are some of the style points that stood out to me:

* Don't be afraid to try new things.
* Push the envelop.
 * Do what you feel, not what others are doing.
* Mix everything: prints, colors, textures.
* Accessories are your best friends.
 * Wear a belt over whatever you want!

The main gain from this look what when she was wearing pearls in bed, but I couldn't find a picture of her in bed. So this is when she leaves to spend New Years with Miranda.
