I finally got to live my 'long skirt moment' that I have been longing for several months. Anyone that follows me on any of my social media sites have seen this journey. I was on a search for a long skirt after seeing this amazing look from my blogger crush, Blair from Atlantic + Pacific. Though, when I got it in from Ebay, I wanted to change it up a bit. Here is the before photo. Again, with the help from my amazing tailor, Joy, we were able to create greatness! Or I think so! We decided to bring the hem up in the front of the skirt since I am shorter. It seemed to lengthen my legs and created this great train-like in the back. This to me added more drama.
I love to play with mix media, to put things together that you wouldn't normally think to pair. So, I added this vintage, Poison concert t-shirt to add some edge. The tux blazer goes with the skirt and the heels bring out the shirt.
Is there anything that you are dying to wear this month?
Wanna give a shout out to my friend, Kassie, for helping me with my photos. I couldn't have gotten such great pics with my remote and tripod! :) Thanks girl, love ya!!

Krista this skirt is so mesmerizing, Joy did a great job adjusting it, love it so much. Also pairing it with a casual shirt makes it a lil bit edgier. You should wear red lipstick more often, looks super hot on you :-)

the setting with the bridge in the background is breathtaking too :-)
DeleteThanks Ani!! I am just now getting into the darker lipsticks. In the past I never thought they looked good on me. Thanks for the "hot" comment, that's not a word I get often. lol
